Ingredients

- 8 Yufka pastry sheets
- 150 g Marzipan raw mass
- 50 g Nougat
- 50 g Ground nuts
- 50 g Butter

- 150 ml Water
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 tbsp Orange blossom water
- 1 Splash Lemon juice
Instructions
- Melt the butter. Cut the marzipan into 8 pieces. Cut the nougat into small pieces.
- Press the marzipan flat, place the nougat in the middle and roll it up.
- Brush the dough sheets thinly with butter, sprinkle about 1.5 teaspoons of nuts on top, place a roll at the wide end and fold / roll up, folding in the edges.
- Place these packets on a small buttered baking sheet or in a baking dish.
- Spread the remaining butter thickly.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for about 12-15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the syrup. To do this, put water and sugar in a small saucepan, bring to the boil, add orange blossom water and lemon juice and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes. (the stove can be switched off, residual heat is sufficient)
- Dip the baked packets briefly in the syrup and place them back on the tray until it cools, turning them every now and then.
- Use the remaining syrup for other purposes. ... I made tea with it. To do this, add 1 tablespoon of black tea and 0.5 liters of water, bring to the boil again, let it steep for 3 minutes, then strain. (or more water + tea, then it's not so sweet) ... You can also keep the syrup and use it the next time.
- YUFKA dough sheets: I took pre-cut triangles (eighths), just cut rounds. If you have very thin sheets of pastry, take it twice.
