Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 100 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 150 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 375 g flour
  • 3 bananas
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pack of cake icing (chocolate icing), if desired

very quick, very tasty!

First, separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and butter until fluffy. Then add the mashed bananas. Weigh the flour and mix it with the baking powder. Next, add the flour mixture and the ground hazelnuts and mix well. Finally, carefully fold in the beaten egg whites and chocolate sprinkles. Pour the batter into a cake tin (enough for a loaf tin or 12 muffins) and bake at 175°C for 50-60 minutes. At the end of the baking time, check the consistency with a skewer; bake for a little longer if necessary. Once the cake has cooled, it can be covered with chocolate icing (but it tastes delicious without it too). The cake and muffins are ideal for freezing.
