Banana chocolate waffles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 banana(s), ripe
  • 4 tbsp, heaped chocolate shavings, dark
  • 5 drops of rum flavoring
  • 4 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork in a deep dish. Melt the butter in the microwave. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then, using a hand mixer, stir in the melted butter, eggs, milk, and flavoring until a smooth batter forms. Finally, stir in the banana puree. Heat and grease the waffle iron, and bake the waffles. I always spread 3 tablespoons of batter on the waffle iron and bake the waffles for 3 minutes. This probably varies from waffle iron to waffle iron. With this amount of batter, I get 9 waffles. Dust the waffles with powdered sugar and enjoy.
