Banana ice cream with walnuts

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 bananas, approx. 400 g
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 140 g sugar
  • 60 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream
  • 6 walnuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 20 minutes

Puree the bananas with the lemon juice. Chop the walnuts, toast them in a pan without oil, and add them to the bananas along with the remaining ingredients except the cream. Finally, whip the cream until stiff peaks form and fold in. Pour into a suitable dish and freeze overnight, or use an ice cream maker to make the mixture.
