Banana Sckoko Gugelhupf

The perfect banana sckoko gugelhupf recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 Banana
  • 100 g Chocolate sprinkles
  • 70 g Desiccated coconut
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 200 g Flour
  • 3,5 tsp Baking powder deleted
  • 100 g Chocolateglaze
  • 3 tbsp Desiccated coconut
  • 1 tsp Brandy / rum
  1. Stir the butter until foamy. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, brandy / rum and eggs. Stir with the hand mixer (whisk) until the sugar has dissolved
  1. Finely mash the banana with a fork, add, mix.
  1. Add chocolate sprinkles, desiccated coconut and milk, mix in.
  1. Finely sift the flour and baking powder and fold in loosely. Pour the batter into the prepared Gugelhupf pan. Smooth out the mixture, bake. Baking time: approx. 60 min. / Baking temperature: approx. 180 ° C middle rack / top and bottom heat / cooking sample. Let the finished cake cool a little in the tin and turn it onto a wire rack. Let the cake cool down.
  1. Melt the chocolate icing and cover the cake. Sprinkle desiccated coconut on the glaze, allow to dry.
