Banana Spice Cake
The perfect banana spice cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 350 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 250 g Sugar
- 5 Free range eggs
- 250 g Soft butter
- 1 Teaspoon (level) Unsweetened cocoa
- 3 Teaspoon (level) Ginger bread spice
- 3 Banana fresh
- 100 g Whole milk couverture
- 2 tablespoon Chopped almonds
- Puree the bananas in a container.
- Beat the softened butter, sugar and eggs until frothy. Add the mashed bananas and stir in. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Finally stir in the cocoa and gingerbread spice. Put the dough in the prepared springform pan and smooth it out.
- Place the cake in the oven preheated to 200 degrees upper and lower heat and bake for about 50 – 55 minutes. (Chopsticks sample) Take out of the oven after baking and let cool in the mold. Put the cooled cake on a cake plate. Melt the couverture over a water bath, spread it over the cake and sprinkle with the chopped almonds.
