Banana-Walnut Birthday Cake (Mana Bazi)

Ingredients
 

  • 8 Eggs
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 200 g Flour
  • 50 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 2 kg Powdered sugar
  • 6 Egg Whites
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 20 g Butter
  • 800 ml Cream
  • 3 tbsp Cream stiffener
  • 1 tbsp Rose water
  • 4 piece Banana
  • 100 g Walnuts
  • For decoration:
  • 50 g Chocolate
  • Food coloring - blue, red, green
  • 1 piece Roses and leaf piping tip
  • 4 piece Piping bag

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 c °.
  • Separate eggs.
  • Beat the egg whites, sugar and vanilla until stiff, 10 minutes on the highest setting.
  • Add egg yolk, honey and milk and whisk briefly (30 seconds).
  • Mix the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder, sieve and fold in.
  • Grease the baking tin, pour the mixture into the tin and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  • Cream with 300gr. Beat the icing sugar and cream stiffener until stiff.
  • Let the cake base cool down and cut horizontally in the middle.
  • Drizzle with some milk and top with banana and walnuts.
  • Then brush with cream.
  • Beat egg white with lemon juice, rose water and powdered sugar until it becomes a solid mass (royal icing).
  • Color Royal Icing and decorate the cake with it.
