Ingredients
- 8 Eggs
- 200 g Sugar
- 200 g Flour
- 50 g Cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 2 kg Powdered sugar
- 6 Egg Whites
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 20 g Butter
- 800 ml Cream
- 3 tbsp Cream stiffener
- 1 tbsp Rose water
- 4 piece Banana
- 100 g Walnuts
- For decoration:
- 50 g Chocolate
- Food coloring - blue, red, green
- 1 piece Roses and leaf piping tip
- 4 piece Piping bag
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 c °.
- Separate eggs.
- Beat the egg whites, sugar and vanilla until stiff, 10 minutes on the highest setting.
- Add egg yolk, honey and milk and whisk briefly (30 seconds).
- Mix the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder, sieve and fold in.
- Grease the baking tin, pour the mixture into the tin and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
- Cream with 300gr. Beat the icing sugar and cream stiffener until stiff.
- Let the cake base cool down and cut horizontally in the middle.
- Drizzle with some milk and top with banana and walnuts.
- Then brush with cream.
- Beat egg white with lemon juice, rose water and powdered sugar until it becomes a solid mass (royal icing).
- Color Royal Icing and decorate the cake with it.
