Coriander Rolls with Celery-mashed Potatoes and Green Beans

The perfect coriander rolls with celery-mashed potatoes and green beans recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Coriander rolls: (approx. 18 pieces)

  • 750 g Beef meat
  • 3 Slices of wholemeal toast
  • 2 Large onions approx. 300 g
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 piece Ginger approx. 20 g
  • 2 Red chili peppers
  • 1 bunch Coriander
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Mild curry powder
  • 0,5 tsp Pepper
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs (here: Golden Breadcrumbs)
  • 1 Cup Peanut oil

Celery and potato mash:

  • 500 g Celery
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 5 tbsp Cream
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Strong pinches of salt
  • 1 Strong pinch of pepper

Green beans:

  • 500 g Green beans
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Strong pinches of salt
  • 1 Strong pinch of pepper

Coriander rolls: (approx. 18 pieces)

  1. Peel and dice the onions. Peel the ginger and garlic cloves and dice them very finely. Clean, wash and finely dice the chilli peppers. Soak the wholemeal toast in water and squeeze it out well. Wash the coriander, shake dry and roughly chop / cut. Put all ingredients (beef meat, wholegrain toast, onions, garlic cloves, ginger, chilli peppers, coriander, eggs, salt, mild curry powder, pepper and chilli powder) in a bowl and mix / knead well. With moistened hands, shape meatballs (makes approx. 18 pieces), roll in breadcrumbs and fry in plenty of peanut oil on both sides until golden-brown.

Celery and potato mash:

  1. Peel and dice celery and potatoes, cook in salted water (1 teaspoon) for about 25 minutes, drain, add cream (5 tbsp) and butter (1 tbsp), salt (2 big pinches) and pepper (1 big pinch) and Work / pound through well with the potato masher.

Green beans:

  1. Clean the beans / remove the threads, wash them, boil them in salted water (1 teaspoon) for about 15 minutes, pour them off, return them to the hot saucepan and toss in butter (1 teaspoon). Season with salt (2 big pinches) and pepper (1 big pinch).

Serve:

  1. Coriander buns with mashed celery and potatoes, drizzled with the roasting fat and serve green beans.
