Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 225 g sugar
  • 480 ml water
  • 250 g blueberries (blueberries)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 10 large lemon(s), the juice, about 360 ml juice in total

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Make a sugar syrup from the first two ingredients: Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and simmer for another minute. Remove from the heat and let cool. In a blender or food processor, puree the blueberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Combine the cooled syrup, lemon juice, and blueberry puree and pour into a pitcher. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Add 60 to 80 ml of blueberry lemonade base to each glass and top up with ice-cold water (or sparkling mineral water). This makes enough for at least 12 glasses. Very refreshing!
