Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g mushrooms, brown
- 200 g crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 pinches of salt
- 12 basil leaves

5 ingredients, quick and delicious
Clean the mushrooms, ideally using a brush to remove any dirt and debris. Don’t wash the mushrooms, as this will make them mushy. Then slice them. Remove any overly large, unsightly stems (use them if using vegetable broth). Heat coconut oil in a pan, add the sliced mushrooms, and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 8-10 minutes. Now add the crème fraîche and salt to the pan, mix everything together, and simmer gently for another 3-4 minutes. Season to taste and add more salt if desired. Cut the basil leaves into strips and stir them in just before serving. I served this with fried chicken breast.
