Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g marzipan
  • 75 g milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 100 g flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 600 g chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours

time-consuming, but simple and sooo delicious

Preheat oven to approximately 190°C (convection oven with grill). Heat the marzipan and milk together. The quickest way is in a microwave at approximately 400 watts. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form, gradually stirring in 100g of powdered sugar. Beat the egg yolks with the remaining powdered sugar until frothy, then fold in the previously melted butter and mix in the cinnamon and marzipan. Combine the flour and cornstarch and mix on low heat. Now fold the beaten egg whites into the batter. Grease a baking dish and line it with baking paper. Pour a thin layer of batter into the dish and bake for about 5 minutes. When the batter is lightly browned, add the next thin layer and bake for another 5 minutes. Repeat the process with the remaining batter. Finally, cover the batter with aluminum foil and bake for another 10 minutes. Let cool and cut into small pieces. Dip the pieces into the melted chocolate coating. Let it dry on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
