Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g onion(s)
  • 1 can white beans
  • 2 cubes of soup seasoning
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 30 g paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly garlic
  • 150 g bacon
  • possibly flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Fry the finely diced onion and bacon in oil until lightly browned. Briefly fry the paprika and ketchup. Then pour in the water and crumble in the stock cubes. Season everything with salt, pepper, and garlic, if desired, and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, thickening with a little flour if desired. Drain the beans and add them to the soup. Add the parsley, and you’re done! It tastes great if you slice some sausages into it at the end.
