Christmas cookies that are not only visually appealing

Make a dough from the dough ingredients and chill the dough for about 1 hour. Roll out the dough in portions and cut out hearts. Cut out the hearts from the halves of the hearts again using a smaller cutter. Mix the egg yolk with the milk and brush the edges of the cut-out hearts with it. Place all the hearts on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes. Then let the cookies cool. Boil down the redcurrant jelly while stirring (but this is not absolutely necessary), then brush it over the uncut hearts. Put the two pieces together.
