Beef Buns with Variety of Vegetables

The perfect beef buns with variety of vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Makes about 20 meatballs

  • 550 g Beef meat
  • 1 Red bell pepper (approx. 200 g)
  • 1 Red pointed pepper (approx. 50 g)
  • 2 Onions (approx. 100 g)
  • 5 Spring onions (approx. 150 g)
  • 1 Kohlrabi (approx. 300 g)
  • 100 gg Celery
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Yesterday’S rolls
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp Sambal oelek
  • 2 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
  • Breadcrumbs for rolling
  1. Clean, wash and dice the bell peppers and pointed bell peppers. Peel and dice the onions, clean and wash the spring onions and cut into rings. Peel and finely dice the garlic cloves. Clean / remove the celery and cut into rings. Peel and dice the kohlrabi. Soak the rolls and squeeze them out well. Put all ingredients (beef meat, diced paprika, diced pointed pepper, diced onion, spring onion rings, diced kohlrabi, celery rings, diced garlic, squeezed rolls and 2 eggs) in a bowl and mix well. Season with salt (2 teaspoons), mustard (2 teaspoons), sweet paprika (1 teaspoon), pepper (1 teaspoon), sambal oelek (1 teaspoon) and sweet chili sauce (2 teaspoons). Shape meatballs with moistened hands, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in plenty of oil on both sides until golden-brown. Served here with white bread and mustard.
