Beef Carrots

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g beef, diced
  • 1 kg carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 15 g butter
  • 200 ml white wine
  • 1 cube of beef broth
  • Thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • rosemary if needed
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Simple beef stew with carrots

Heat the butter in a saucepan and brown the beef. Add the onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Finally, add the white wine, mix well with the pan juices, and add the tomato paste. Crumble the beef stock cube into the pan, add a little water, and simmer for about 1.5 hours. Peel and slice the carrots, then add them to the pan along with the herbs. Cook for another 45 minutes. Serve hot. Best served with tagliatelle.
