Beef goulash in a Roman pot

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1,000 g beef
  • 400 g onion(s)
  • 500 ml meat broth, hot
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • Tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Caraway seeds
  • Parsley
  • possibly wine, red

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Rinse the Roman pot with water. Add the finely chopped onions, diced beef, tomato paste, caraway seeds, crushed garlic clove, vinegar, and hot meat broth with salt, pepper, and paprika to the Roman pot and close the lid. Add red wine, if desired. Bake in the oven at 250°C for 80 minutes. Mix the finished dish with sour cream and serve with chopped parsley. Serve with dumplings or noodles and red cabbage.
