Beef in Beer Sauce

The perfect beef in beer sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Beef minute steaks
  • 2 Big onions
  • 3 Carrots
  • Flour
  • 350 ml Malt beer
  • 1 tbsp Thyme
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  1. Cut the meat into pieces and place in a freezer bag. Put salt, pepper and flour in the bag. Make sure that the meat is covered with enough flour and shake it.
  1. Peel the onions and carrots and cut into thin slices or rings. In a pan with a little oil, cook the carrots and onions and then set aside.
  1. Fry the meat in a little oil in the pan. Then when it’s done, add malt beer. Bring to the boil briefly, then add the vegetables and let them steep for about 20 minutes over low heat.
