Beef with horseradish sauce

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 tbsp beef broth, granulated
  • 1 kg beef (boiled beef)
  • 150 ml Cremefine for cooking
  • 8 tbsp, streaky sauce thickener, light
  • 6 tsp horseradish
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 tbsp chives, in rolls

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Stir the beef stock into 2 liters of water and bring to a boil. Add the beef, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 2 hours until tender. Then remove the meat and keep warm. Measure 350 ml of the stock and pour it into a saucepan with the cream; bring to a boil. Stir in the sauce thickener and simmer for about 1 minute. Season with horseradish, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and sugar. Slice the meat, arrange on plates with the sauce, and serve sprinkled with chives. Boiled potatoes go best with this dish.
