The perfect beer cake, of course with altbier recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Floors
- 250 ml Altbier
- 250 g Butter
- 80 g Cocoa
- 400 g Sugar
- 2 Eggs size M
- 1 Vanilla pod
- 140 ml Buttermilk
- 280 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Baking powder
Cream filling
- 250 g Mascarpone
- 60 g Powdered sugar
- 180 ml Cream
- 1 packet Cream stiffener
- 3 Limes
- 300 g Berry
- First line the baking pan with baking paper and preheat the oven to 170 degrees top / bottom heat. Then heat the butter with beer in a saucepan until the butter has melted. Then stir in the sugar and cocoa and mix. Whisk eggs, vanilla pulp and buttermilk in a bowl and slowly add to the cocoa mixture. Sift the flour with baking soda and baking powder into a large bowl and slowly stir into the cocoa mixture.
- Now put the chocolate mixture in the baking pan and bake for about 50 to 55 minutes. When the dough is done, let the cake cool down and then cut three equally sized bases out of the dough.
- Beat the mascarpone until creamy, add the sifted powdered sugar and also add the cream, cream stiffener and lime juice. Stir the whole thing with the hand mixer until a creamy, firm mass is formed.
- Then put a cake base down and spread about 1/3 of the cream on top. Then place the second base on top of the cream and repeat the process. The last layer should consist of cream, on which the fresh berries are distributed at the end.
