Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beetroot
  • 350 g Greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 3 pinches of pepper
  • 1 tsp herb mix (Cretan herb mix)
  • 1 pinch of chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 6 minutes

Place the beetroot in a mixing bowl and puree until smooth. Add the yogurt, olive oil, and remaining spices, and mix on medium speed for 35 seconds. Season to taste if desired. Spread the beetroot cream on a flat plate and garnish with olive oil and Cretan herb mix. Serve with homemade bread on the side, if desired.
