Berliner from Oven
The perfect berliner from oven recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 350 g Spelled flour type 630
- 150 ml Milk warm
- 20 g Fresh yeast
- 50 g Sugar
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Egg
- Jam of your choice
- Powdered sugar
- Put the flour in a bowl and make a well. Then pour warm milk, sugar and vanilla sugar into the well. Crumble in the yeast and dissolve. Dust the edge with a little flour and let rise in a warm place until the yeast bubbles.
- Then knead everything well with the egg and salt and then add butter, knead well again.
- Now shape the dough into 8-15 balls, depending on how big the donuts should be. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let rise for about 45 minutes!
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees!
- Berliners in the oven approx. Bake for 10-15 minutes! Then let it cool down a bit!
- Then fill each Berliner, e.g. with a large syringe or a large piping nozzle, with jam as desired!
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar!
- It is best to enjoy lukewarm now! 🙂
