Berry Panna Cotta

The perfect berry panna cotta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Whipped cream
  • 300 Milliliters Milk
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 6 sheet White gelatin
  • 500 g Strawberries
  • Juice and zest of 1 organic orange
  • If you like, lemon balm to garnish

preparation

  1. Wash the orange with hot water, dry it off. Use a kitchen grater to rub off the orange peel and squeeze out the juice
  2. Wash the strawberries, remove the green, quarter. Marinate two thirds of the strawberries with 25 grams of sugar, the orange zest and the orange juice. Puree the rest of the strawberries with the magic wand.

preparation

  1. Put the milk and cream in a saucepan. Cut the vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out the pulp. Add both and 75 grams of sugar and simmer over a low heat for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile soak the gelatin in cold water.
  3. Remove the vanilla pod. Print out the gelatine and dissolve it in the hot cream-milk mix. Then fold in the pureed strawberries.
  4. Fill the cream into glasses and cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, possibly a little longer.
  5. Serve with marinated strawberries and possibly mint.
