Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g penne
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 400 ml cream
  • 1 tube(s) Tomato paste, unseasoned
  • n. B. Herbs, Italian
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 250 g Gouda or mozzarella, grated
  • 4 tomatoes

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

very fast and cheap

First, cook the penne in salted water until al dente. Then drain. For the sauce, mix together the olive oil, cream, the entire tube of tomato paste, herbs, and spices, and season with salt and pepper. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves, and add them to the sauce. Tip: Add more or less olive oil and garlic to taste. Mix the pasta with the sauce well and transfer it to a very large baking dish. Mix 1/3 of the cheese into the penne. Then quarter the tomatoes and place them on top of the penne. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Bake the casserole for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven), until the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
