Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and chill. I usually make the sauce an hour in advance so it can infuse and cool in the fridge. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, knead it well, and form small burgers (tip: remove the lid from the pickle jar and use it to shape the meat). Sear it in a pan until very hot, then finish cooking over medium heat. Cut the hamburger buns in half and toast them briefly in the pan (without fat). Now generously spread the sauce on the bottom of the hamburger bun. Place some chopped onions, 2 slices of cucumber, and some iceberg lettuce on top, then a burger and a slice of Cheshire cheese. Spread the middle part of the hamburger bun in the same way, stacking them on top of each other. Spread some sauce on the top as well and place them on the burger.
