Birgit's strawberry cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g butter
  • 100 g honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g spelt or wheat, ground
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 2 tbsp jam, strawberry
  • some vanilla pulp
  • some syrup (agave syrup)
  • e.g. strawberries, fresh or frozen, thawed and drained

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

very tasty, very quick and wholesome

For the base, cream the honey and butter until fluffy. Add the vanilla, eggs, and flour with the baking powder and mix. Pour the batter into a springform pan and bake for 20 minutes at 150°C fan-assisted oven or 180°C conventional oven. Once cooled, spread the strawberry jam over the base, then arrange the strawberries on top. Top with whipped cream (with vanilla and agave syrup).
