Black chocolate ice cream

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 bar of chocolate (at least 70% cocoa content)
  • 100 ml milk (whole milk)
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder, (baking cocoa)
  • 5 tbsp powdered sugar or more
  • 2 drops of rum flavoring, optionally 1 tbsp brown Jamaican rum
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar (bourbon vanilla)
  • 1 cup of cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with dark chocolate, the best there is for chocolate fans

Heat the milk and melt the dark chocolate in it. The milk doesn’t need to boil, as this recipe doesn’t require egg yolks. Add the cocoa powder and powdered sugar. Whisk until smooth, then chill over ice water. Once the chocolate mixture has cooled, whip the cream until stiff peaks form and fold in. Place the mixture in the ice cream maker for about 25 minutes.
