Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g flour (also wholemeal flour)
  • 400 g salsify (frozen or freshly cleaned or from the jar), cooked
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • salt and pepper
  • Broth, granulated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Starter or main course

Make quark puff pastry from quark, butter, and flour. Simply knead the ingredients together. Divide the dough in half. Line a prepared springform pan with one half and add the cooked salsify. Mix the sour cream with the remaining ingredients, season with spices if desired, and pour over the dough. Roll out the second half of the dough into a lid and place it on top of the filling. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 35 minutes. Serve immediately.
