Blackberry Jelly

The perfect blackberry jelly recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1200 g Blackberries fresh
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  • 1 Sachets Gelierfix
  • 1 small cup Water or fruit juice
  1. Put the blackberries in a large saucepan and bring to the boil with a small cup of water until the blackberries are nice and soft, then pass the purée through a sieve, sieve out the seeds, collect the juice, mix the preserving sugar with the gelirfix and add to the fruit mass Bring to the boil and cook for 4 minutes while stirring, then fill into clean glasses, screw the lid on and turn it upside down for 5 minutes.
