Protein-strong products, super fats: With the Logi method you rely on low-carbohydrate Glyx nutrition for top blood fat values & more. Here’s your recipe-tasting day!
The four letters stand for LOw Glycemic and Insulinemic (roughly: low blood sugar level, low insulin secretion).
Foods that do just that are recommended. These are primarily protein-containing products such as meat, fish, and dairy products. But also carbohydrate foods with low glycemic load (that is, they do not cause blood sugar levels to spike). These include vegetables, salads, fruits, and legumes. At the same time, the Logi method diet is high in fat.
According to the Logi inventor Dr. Nicolai Worm, fat is only a problem for the body if it is combined with plenty of carbohydrates.
- Thus it propagates a mix of high-quality olive, Raps, and walnut oil, combined with animal fats from fish, high-quality meat, and pasture milk.
- Sweet drinks, white flour products, and sugary sweets are taboo.
- A positive side effect of the low-carbohydrate diet according to the Logi method: regulation of blood lipid levels, and protection against high blood pressure, fatty liver, and diabetes.
Suitable for: People who like to eat everything and already have health risk factors.
