According to Dr. Komarovsky, the first dish has become so popular because it is economically advantageous. Cooking soup is much cheaper and faster than meat and garnish. But really, eating soup is a matter of habit and taste preference. Some people really like it, and some do not like to eat liquid, replacing it with sandwiches, vegetables, meat, or fish as a side dish.

What is the purpose of eating soup?

Many experts say that soups have a positive effect on the digestive system. In addition, doctors are often scared that gastritis can appear if you do not eat soup. But the same doctor Komarovsky, whose opinion is trusted by millions of Ukrainian women, says that in fact, medicine does not prove that the first is so good for the stomach.

What are the benefits and harms of soup?

In general, the soup will not affect your body in any way, if it is light and at the same time nourishing. For example, chicken broth will give you a boost for the whole day and diversify your diet.

But it should be borne in mind that other “liquid” soups, such as borscht, hodgepodge, instant soups, and cream soups, are not suitable for everyone. First, they are very rich and can provoke diarrhea in you. Secondly, these soups contain a lot of calories, which leads to weight gain. And in the soups of instant cooking and in fact, a lot of chemicals, which only harm your stomach.

What happens to your body if you don’t eat soup?

In general, nothing will happen to your body if you give up soups. Your body already contains a lot of fluid, which allows it to function properly. However, you should not forget that you should drink at least one and a half liters of pure water every day.
