  • Eggs

Take eggs (as many as you need for your family). Chop onion finely. Grate cheese on a grater. In a pan, fry the bacon, and onion, and beat the eggs. Ingredients:

  • 1-2 eggs
  • 100 ml of milk
  • Greens, spices to taste

Take a normal mug (200-300 ml), beat an egg in it, and add milk, salt, spices, and herbs to taste (dill and parsley are great). If your child does not mind, you can add grated cheese and finely chopped bell peppers. Whisk the mixture with a fork and place in the microwave for 2-4 minutes. Voila, breakfast is ready!

In the realities of war in Ukraine, you have to adapt to different conditions. Because of Russian missile strikes, Ukrainians have to learn to live with limited electricity. So, what to eat for breakfast if there is no light in the house? In this case, sandwiches will help you out!

Egg pâté sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 eggs
  • 2 melted cheese
  • mayonnaise or sour cream
  • green onion
  • salt, and pepper to taste

Boil the eggs in advance (when there is light!), and grate them on a coarse grater. Do the same with melted cheese. Season with mayonnaise (or sour cream). Add onions and spices to taste. Now you can spread it on bread or croutons and enjoy a hearty and simple breakfast.

Also at the time of rolling blackouts in Ukraine, we advise stocking up on products that do not require cooking: preserves (sprats, pate), ready-made spreads: hummus, babaganoush, peanut butter, or chocolate paste.
