juicy slices with white chocolate, nuts, dates, spices and orange flavor

Melt the chocolate in a lukewarm water bath, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, grease a rectangular baking pan (approx. 18 x 25 cm or 20 x 20 cm) and refrigerate. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Mix the flour with the spices and baking soda. Stir the butter into the melted chocolate, remove from the heat, and set aside. Beat the eggs with the sugar and honey until creamy, then stir in the chocolate-butter mixture and the grated orange zest. Sift the flour mixture over the cake and stir in the yogurt. Finally, fold in the chopped dates and nuts. Pour into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes. Then heat the orange juice and honey. Pierce the warm cake several times with a skewer and pour the orange juice over it as evenly as possible. Leave to cool in the pan on a wire rack so that the juice can absorb the juice. Then turn out onto a cake plate and remove the tin. Melt the white chocolate, thin it with a little oil, and spread it thinly over the cake. Distribute the walnut halves evenly over the top.
