Blueberry sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g blueberries (frozen)
  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Great as a gift, makes 3 bottles of 100 ml each

Rinse 3 small bottles with hot water. Combine blueberries, apple juice, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir in the gingerbread spice. After 10 minutes, remove the pan from the heat and blend everything thoroughly (careful, it will splash!). Return the sauce to the heat and bring to a boil again. Pour into the prepared bottles while still hot. It will keep in the refrigerator for about 1 week. I always freeze a portion in case I get a craving.
