Boiled beef with light sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg beef (boiled beef)
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly Fondor
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the beef with the cleaned vegetables, salt, pepper, and bay leaf over low heat for about 2 hours until tender. Remove the meat from the broth and slice thinly. Strain the broth. Make a roux from the flour and butter. Pour in enough beef broth to create a lightly creamy sauce. Add a cup of sour cream and season with lemon juice. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Fondor, if desired. Then reheat the meat in the sauce, but do not boil. Serve with rice.
