Bombay Crushed

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 cl Gin, London Gin (or Bombay Sapphire Gin)
  • 5 kumquats
  • 1 lime(s), the juice
  • 3 tsp cane sugar
  • Ice, crushed ice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

In a thick glass (a Caipirinha glass is best), lightly muddle the kumquats with cane sugar and the juice of half a lime using a muddler, then fill two-thirds full with crushed ice. Pour in the gin, stir with a long spoon, and fill the glass to the brim with ice. For garnish, sprinkle some cane sugar over the ice or decorate with half a kumquat. Add a straw or two, and you’re done! A quick tip: If you’d like the Bombay Crushed a little milder, you can tone it down with a little ginger ale!
