Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, small dried
  • 0.33 cup(s) syrup (molasses)
  • ¼ cup(s) brown sugar
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 125 g bacon, cut into 2 cm cubes
  • 1 tsp mustard (Dijon mustard)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 liter of water, approx.

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 10 minutes

traditionally cooked in a crock pot

Place everything in the crock pot and cook without stirring for 10-14 hours. Serve with steak and freshly baked bread. And, of course, a hearty beer.
