Fill the beer bottle with 325 ml of water, thyme, Provençal herbs, 1 teaspoon of finely ground pepper, and garlic. Place the chicken vertically on the bottle and roast in an oven preheated to 200°C for 30-40 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 120°C and continue roasting the chicken for about 30 minutes. Serve with boiled potatoes or baguette and a crisp salad. Place the bottle-fed chicken in a shallow casserole dish or on a baking sheet filled with 1-2 glasses of water.
