Braised cabbage casserole à la Didi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of white cabbage
  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Cut the white cabbage into eighths and shred using the food processor’s shredder. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and knead vigorously. Fill a roasting pan with layers of cabbage and minced meat. First a layer of cabbage, then a layer of minced meat, and so on until all is used up. Place the roasting pan, covered, in a convection oven preheated to 180°C for 90 minutes. Stir several times during the cooking time. Plate up and serve.
