Braised seitan with peppers in teriyaki sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g seitan
  • 2 bell peppers, red and green
  • 2 onions
  • 1 zucchini
  • Coconut oil
  • 100 ml teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Vegan and quick to prepare

Cut the seitan into thin strips and the bell peppers into strips. Halve the onions and zucchini lengthwise and slice them. Heat coconut oil in a wok and fry the seitan strips until crispy on all sides. Add the vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes. Then add the sauce ingredients, mix well, and simmer for another 3 minutes.
