The edible mummy tomb! Perfect for Halloween!

Cut a small baguette in half lengthwise. Scrape out the white inside with a spoon. Cover the bottom half with lettuce leaves. Spread the dip, pesto, or something similar with a spoon—I used ajvar. Then cut the cheese slices and cooked ham into thin strips and place them on the dip. Place either a thick carrot or a cucumber (peeled) on top. Cover with the cheese and ham strips in a crisscross pattern. Place a hard-boiled egg on top for the head. Decorate the whole thing with cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, or whatever else you have around. Use sultanas for the eyes—I chose cloves in this case. Place the top half of the baguette on top, and the bread sarcophagus is complete!
