- ⅛ liter milk
- 40 g butter or lard

Goes perfectly with pickling soup
Moisten the breadcrumbs with milk. Whisk the butter and egg with a little salt until fluffy. Fold in the breadcrumb mixture and let stand for 1/2 hour. Form small dumplings, place them in the boiling soup, and cook for 10 minutes.
