Breaded Pudding Cubes

The perfect breaded pudding cubes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Pck. Vanilla pudding
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 3 El Sugar
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 1 Cup Breadcrumbs
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Cinammon
  1. Prepare a pudding from the pudding powder, the 400ml milk and the sugar according to the package instructions.
  1. Pour the pudding into a square bowl lined with cling film while it is still hot. The pudding should not be filled in higher than about 5-3 cm. Cover the pudding with the protruding cling film or a suitable lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (can be prepared the day before).
  1. Turn the hardened pudding out of the plastic bowl and cut into cubes (approx. 3 x 3 cm). Then the cubes are breaded.
  1. To do this, turn the individual cubes carefully and, if necessary, with a fork or a pan lifter, first in flour, then in egg and finally in the breadcrumbs. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat (not too strong, otherwise the fat will burn). Bake the cubes on both sides until golden brown.
  1. Then turn the custard cubes in a mixture of cinnamon sugar and serve. They taste best hot
  1. Tip 6: They taste good, for example. with my souffle, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some whipped cream 😉
