Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pork schnitzels (ham schnitzels)
- 1 egg(s)
- some milk
- some flour
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp margarine
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
First, the flour is sprinkled on a plate. Then, mix the egg with the milk and pour it into a shallow plate. Now, a third plate is needed, in which the breadcrumbs are mixed with a pinch of salt. Now, prepare the schnitzels: Sprinkle some salt and pepper on both sides of the schnitzels, place the seasoned schnitzels on the first plate (with the flour), and sprinkle both sides with flour. Next, it’s the second plate’s turn (with the egg and milk mixture). Dip the schnitzel in the mixture again on both sides and then place it on the third plate (with the breadcrumbs). Spread the breadcrumbs over the schnitzel and press them down slightly. Now, pick up the schnitzel and let the excess breadcrumbs fall off (this can then be used for the next schnitzel). The schnitzel should be completely coated in the breadcrumbs. Now, fry the schnitzels: Melt the margarine in a pan and fry the schnitzels until golden brown. Serve with: potatoes, potato wedges (cut potatoes into quarters, season with salt, pepper, marjoram and other herbs, and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes) or fries.
