Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 500 g flour (wheat flour type 405)
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 ml milk
  • 100 ml oil (sunflower oil)
  • Milk, for brushing
  • Flour , for editing

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add the quark, egg, milk, and oil and knead with a mixer, finally kneading by hand, until a smooth dough forms. Preheat oven to 175°C (gas mark 3-4). Roll the dough into a log on a floured surface and divide into 20 pieces. Shape each piece into a round roll. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with milk, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
