Bretzel Biscuits

The perfect bretzel biscuits recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 155 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
  • 50 g Sour cream
  • 100 g Butter flakes
  • 1 tsp Vanilla sugar
  • Granulated sugar
  1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead by hand.
  2. Shape the dough into a ball and wrap it in cling film.
  3. Place in the fridge for about 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place in the oven on the middle rack for 10-11 minutes. let cool down. Finished
  5. Now roll out the dough into a rectangle (about 30x18cm).
  6. Now cut into thin strips (about 0.5 cm wide).
  7. Place the hail sugar on the work surface (or on a plate).
  8. Shape the strips into a pretzel and press the ends lightly.
  9. Press the front side of the pretzel onto the granulated sugar.
  10. Then place on the baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  11. Place in the oven on the middle rack for 10-11 minutes.
  12. Let cool down. Finished
