Broccoli and cauliflower mash à la Gabi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g broccoli, cut into small florets, stalk peeled and diced
  • 600 g cauliflower, cut into small florets, stalks peeled and diced
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • Salt and pepper, white from the mill
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cover and cook the broccoli and cauliflower in a little salted water for 10 minutes, drain, and set aside. While still hot, mash coarsely with a potato masher along with butter and sour cream. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
