Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 1 onion(s)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tomatoes, ripe
- 1 tbsp coriander, dried
- 1 tsp cumin
- n. B. Water or broth, approx. 200 – 300 ml

the aromatic summer dish
Peel and finely dice the onion. Peel and dice the tomatoes (or use canned tomatoes). Crush the garlic cloves. Wash the beans and cut them into pieces about 3 cm long. Sauté the onion in hot olive oil in a pan. Add the garlic cloves and fry briefly. Add the beans and sauté them. Add the coriander and cumin. Season with salt. Sauté everything together vigorously until the beans lose some of their vibrant green color. Now add the tomato to the beans. Deglaze with about 200-300 ml of water or stock. Bring to a boil and simmer or braise, covered, for another 20-30 minutes. Season to taste. Enjoy lukewarm or cold. Side dishes: Flatbread, yogurt mixed with garlic and served with the side dish.
