Broccoli and chicken casserole

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g broccoli
  • 400 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 ml broth
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 g whole wheat pasta
  • 100 g cheese, grated, variety to taste
  • basil
  • oregano
  • marjoram
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Divide the broccoli into small florets and boil in salted water. Chop the onion and sauté. Peel the garlic, chop it finely, and add it to the onions. Add the chopped chicken breast fillet and sauté. Add the cream and broth and bring to a boil. Add the spices and herbs and simmer briefly. Place the uncooked whole-wheat pasta in a casserole dish. Place the broccoli on top of the pasta, pour the chicken sauce over it, and scatter the cheese over it. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for approximately 20 minutes.
