Broccoli and feta cheese cream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 g broccoli, frozen
  • Feta cheese, approx. 200 – 250 g
  • 3 tbsp garlic oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Salad herbs
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Cook the broccoli thoroughly in salted water. It’s okay if it’s overcooked; the softer the better. In the meantime, dice or crumble the feta and mix with the oil and spices. Purée this mixture. When the broccoli is ready, drain well and let it cool. Then add it to the feta mixture and purée. If the consistency is too firm, add more oil. In addition to garlic oil and olive oil, various herb oils also work well. Then, if desired, let it marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours. Tip: This recipe is ideal as a dip for barbecues or as a spread on baguette or ciabatta.
