Broccoli casserole with feta cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g broccoli, in florets, frozen
  • 150 g smoked ham
  • 1 cup of bread(s) – spread, (brunch)
  • some white wine or water
  • 2 pinches of nutmeg
  • 3 m.-sized potatoes, boiled
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts or almond flakes
  • n. B. Salt and pepper, from the mill

Blanch the broccoli in salted water for 3-4 minutes. Prepare a casserole dish and arrange the precooked sliced ​​potatoes on top. Now arrange the broccoli florets tightly together over the potatoes. Crumble the feta cheese and spread it over the broccoli. Sandwich the ham between them. Melt the cup of brunch in a hot pan and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add a little white wine or water and pour it over the broccoli. Sprinkle the pine nuts or almond slivers over the top and gratinate in the microwave at 600°C for 2 minutes and then for 5 minutes at 120°C. When the casserole is golden brown, serve. However, it is better to gratinate the casserole in the oven – at 200°C for about 10 minutes.
